Denver Council of Newspaper Unions (DCNU)

Is a coalition of the seven union locals representing employees who work for the Denver Newspaper Agency.

Denver Newspaper Guild - Communications Workers of America Local 37074
(The Guild)
President – Laurie Faliano
Represents about 800 DNA employees in several departments including Advertising, Circulation, Finance, Paper, Production and
Building Maintenance. The Guild also represents newsroom employees at the Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post.

Denver Typographical Union Local 49 – Communications Workers of America Local 14705 (DTU-CWA)
President – Les Stevens Jr.
Represents about 85 prepress and IT employees at the DNA

Denver Mailers Union No. 8 - Communications Workers of America Local 14708
President – Ken Valero
Represents about 400 DNA employees who insert preprints and assemble sections of the Post and News for distribution.

International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 961
President – Matthew Fazakas
Represents about 90 truck drivers and dock workers at the DNA who handle distribution to home delivery warehouses.
